Half of the babies in the U.S. are on welfare. Damn.

I think that's what it is. The 8% only covers the "official welfare" program. But there are a lot of ancillary programs (WIC, food stamps, section 8 housing, etc) which most people consider to be welfare, but aren't included in the 8% figure.

I think a more realistic solution would be mandatory contraception (IURAB and other semi-permanent methoRAB, where it wouldn't be dependent on the woman taking a pill daily).

Contraception would be mandated for anyone receiving welfare benefits.

If you're not able to support yourself, then you aren't able to support a child, and simply won't be allowed to conceive one.

But of course conservatives would demonize such a program as being "government intrusion into private life" (for the libertarians), or "interfering with God's plan" (for the religious right).

The entire system is set up to foster dependence. Every god damn one of them. That's the big problem here. Doing things like working more hours or taking a promotion could jeopardize your lucrative career of getting free money from the government for doing jack shit.

Pretty much.

#1 reason why people who don't qualify ask me for disability?

They think they're entitled it because they paid their taxes. (??)

No one understanRAB the public assistance programs so they just equate welfare = ssdi = ssi = food stamps = etc.

Also people don't understand what disability is.

They get asthma or diabetes and think they can't work at all because all they know is roofing.

You're 35, go work at wal-mart or sit in a desk somewhere.

FACTORIES IN CHINA != Factories in US

And again, those gooks don't have to work in those factories if they want. And what's funny, is China is more socialist than we are, why aren't their people thriving?
