his accent (and him in fact) took a while to warm to but by the end of the film i thought he was fantastic

this was brilliant i though, a great film
 
Just region one, by the look of it, though it may come out over here later, I don't know. It's basically a 2-disc special edition (the regular edition has no extras) that has a cover - I don't know the special name, but it's one picture when you tilt in one way, another when you tilt it another way. Anyway, that has all the following extras:

you see i didn't have that problem as i just focussed on him being Edna Turnblad so for that reason i only saw the charecter not the actor behind it !!

i know i love him too !! and its great as he's always on the telly in America promoting HSM2 so theres always new clips of him on YT

love him in HSM and some of the looks he has are brilliant ! and HSM being one of ma fave films sooo...... but him and Vanessa and also their charecters are sooooo right for each other !! but hairsprays a more grown up film and he's not so clean cut in HS ............ like have you listened to the lyrics in ladies choice ???.............. their flithy (in a good way of course ;) )



noooooo i love that bit i find it seriously sweet :) and the bit where he defenRAB her and the bit at the end !! although is it me or does he use tounge ???

am off to see it again tonight (dragging my mum ) CAN'T WAIT will tell you more of my fave bits tomorrow once i have refreshed my memory with the beautifully talented cast !!!
 
I cannot WAIT for this movie!! :) I've never even seen the musical, but it looks so good! I'm getting really excited about it! hehe! everytime i see a bus with the poster on the side i yell 'HAIRSPRAY!!!!' My frienRAB got a bit annoyed though... :confused:

I bet you won't find him half as much as goodlooking as he was on Hairspray musiclover1267!

In HSM he looks like a lil KID! And i'm younger than him in real life (17)!

Plus the songs are way too tacky for me in HSM! "What time is it?" :confused:
 
yep !! we have HSM2 which i can't wait for !! and maybe 3 and footloose well he'll be brilliant in it !! can't wait i have to go and see hairspray again !! and get the soundtrack !!

Theres some good extras on the 2-disc. Great to see the rehersals of the songs.

BTW Just thought while listening to the CD today, who'd like to take Link up on his offer and "take (him) home and unwrap me" this Christmas? :D
