Well in the US, it will be out in the Summer, July i think, UK should probably get it Oct/Nov (i think)
 
That sounRAB about right. It could also just be "Doris Day at the Apollo" just isn't right (ie out of place), same as 'life without love'.

It is a funny line though. I also love "Just like Frankie Avalon had his favourite Mouseketeer" in It Takes Two.
 
This film rocks!!! Such a feel good movie with great songs. Nikki Blonsky is awesome!!!

I took my sister and her friend to watch it (both are 13) and they have the biggest crush on Zac Efron and whenever he appeared on screen they would giggle, along with many other teen girls in the cinema:D . I am slightly older than him but i have to admit he is a good looking guy:o :D Shame he is young for me though:cry: :p
 
When Tracey sings " I can hear the bells" That's the best part of the movie for me.

Her coming out of the bathroom with a wedding veil made out of tissue. Link giving her the link wink when she closes her Locker door. Link in the car with her....Link; weirdly licking his HAND :eek: and Tracey nudging the two girls at the beginning of the song!

HILARIOUS!

Best movie i have seen in a LONG TIME!
 
yes they cover the race issues.

i love the original but this is actually quite good

the original had music in but wasn't a musical. this film is of the stage musical not the original film
 
Nikki is a brilliant actress and I hope to see her in lots more projects in the future.


EDIT: Just checked her IMBD profile, she is currently filming for a new movie calle d"Harold" due out next year :D
 
:D Good old Google! I read on the Zac forum that there's a 'shake & shimmy' edition coming out but I'm not sure if thats just in the US or here too. I have no idea what it means anyway :p
 
I like totally loved it like it was AMAZING! Zac Efron was like so totally gorgeous and amazing!!! I'm so gonna go watch High School Musical 2 now!
 
^Well you can only hope that Dance-A-Long and Sing-A-Long are on the DVD extras.

I have my doubts we'll get a good DVD, probably a bare bones edition.
 
i have so many favourite parts! i love when they're singing "Without Love" its just really funny. I thought it was so funny when they were talking about Jackie Kennedy's hair being stiff and JT was like "i believe it is naturally stiff" or something like that and also Penny's mum is hilarious! "devil child, devil child!" LOL :D :D
 
It was good, but dont you think that john travoltas accent was a bit strange, and also when Zach Efron was singing to the frame, that was weird, apart from that, some good catchy tunes!
