Hair styles for a high school dance?

Any cute hair styles I could do myself at home for a high school dance? I have a short purple dress if that makes any difference. My hair is medium length, maybe a little shorter and dirty blonde. I have bangs, but they're not very short. They go down to my cheek bones. My face is a little bit on the rounder side but more oval shaped, and I'm sort of tan. Also I don't want a bun.
