Hair salon disaster, should i complain or no?

Ive been going to the same salon for a few years now. my usual stylist is gone, so i went with this new girl that just started at this salon. I told her i wanted to color my hair a dark brown with some natural looking highlights, also a layered cut, and to be thinned out abit. After washing out the dye, the highlights were very blonde, big, and more on one side of the head and in the back then the other side. The cut was uneven and the layers were choppy rather then nicely blended in. My hair was very dry. She asked how i liked the color and i told her that i didn't like it, that it wasn't me, the highlights are too blonde and not natural looking at all. She continued to finish straighting my hair and said that if i dont like it later that i can come back in a few days and she'll fix it. I had to pay full price and tip (which i didn't give a very good tip) for something i didn't want at all or asked for in the beginning.
I had to pay more money to have it color corrected and the cut fixed at another salon. They did a terrific job.
Should i call the salon and speak with the manager and ask for my money back? it cost me 80 bucks. or should i just forget about it?
im not sure if they would give me the money back. i dont even want to go back there.

I think you should definitely complain! You shouldn't have to pay that much for something you just had to get redone because it was so horrible. The last time I went to the salon, I had the same problem; I got stuck with the new guy. The result was NOT what I wanted. I should've asked for a refund but I didn't.. that was stupid.

Complain. You Paid That Much For Your Hair To Be Messed Up? Yea Call the and tell the you had to have it fixed some place else and that you want your money back.
