Hair in the family matters

Am I the only one who wonders how Violet ended up having black hair when her "father" is blonde and her mother is a redhead?

and if Homer is red and Marge is blue what make Lisa and Bart, really messed up skulls?

This, for me. Once you have a cast of up to fifteen people, each with a different hair color, hair just stops bothering you. Purple is begining to look natural to me.

I think you mean Elastigirl (If you're talking about Helen Parr (as I assume you were). Invisigirl would probably be the superhero name given to Violet IMO, if she had been given a superhero name in the movie (she wasn't).

Not a cartoon, I know, but there's a running joke on Everybody Loves Raymond about the two dark-haired Italian (I think the wife's Italian) parents having three blond aryan children.

This happens in real life. I myself have a similar situation in my family. I was born with very light brown (almost dirty blond) hair, whereas both my parents had very dark brown (almost black) hair. Adding to that, my sister was born with the same color hair as our parents.

My friend used to ask me this question about the Thunderbirds. Scott has black, Virgil has brown, John has white, Gordon has strawberry blonde, and Alan has platinum blond.

(Anybody even know what that is?)

This seems plausible to me as IMO she was portrayed in the beginning as being kind of emo.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but in every possible future depicted on the Simpsons, Bart's an Lisa's (and Maggie's) hair remains the color (or lack there of, as it's the same color as their skin ) it is in the present time.

It's because of the whole Fantastic Four vibe I get from the Incredibles. Anyway, I fixed the post.

And, speaking of the Incredibles, I think it's possible Meet the Robinsons is sort of a sequel. Lewis is an inventor with blonde hair that sticks up in the air. Sound like anyone's kid?
