Im a military cook and we have daily inspection before we are allowed to serve. We also handle and serve food without wearing gloves (although we adhere to strick sanitation rules). A few days ago I did an oil painting and got paint all over my hands and had to use an oil/salt mix to scour it off. This resulted in my skin being exstremly dry and cracked on my hands no matter how much lotion I used. Well I dyed my hair last night (red if it matters) and although I wore gloves I still got dye in the dry-mud like cracks of my fingers and now I cant get it out.....I have work tomorrow and my boss will be pissed if my hands are stained or look dirty and besides thats bad looking for customers....HELP!

Thanks

I know your probably not going to take me seriously, but what the hell.
When I was in High School, I did my work experience at a hair dressing salon. I had dyed my hair and had it allll over my forehead, and my work experience boss told me to mix ash (as in ash from ciggarettes, fireplace, etc) with shampoo on a cloth and rub it off, and it DID work, it is gross but do it in the shower so you can wash down as well. I use ash now everytime I get it on my skin, and it works! But Im not sure if it matters how long the dye has been on your skin though, but its worth a shot!
