Just wondering if anyone has suffered an abdominal haematoma (also spelt hematoma).
I am 9 weeks post liver resection and have some swelling and bad pain just above my scar.
An ultrasound found a haematoma (one that is not still bleeding which is good). My doc told me these usually just absorb back in to the body and rectify themselves. How long does this take though!! I am nearly at the 3 month mark but this pain is killing me!
