i ordered pizza from this pizza place and i was eating a pizza and i bit into this small hard piece of thing..i don't know wht that thing is..its like 1 cm long and its beige ..kind of looks like a piece of bone or a dog nail...i called the franchise up and they told me a district manager would come out and take a look at tht thing and start its investigation.

i want to know if i should do my own investigation or call up a lawyer and also what that thing might be.

Nah, don't bother. It's too hard to trace. Most of the stuff that is on pizzas come precut from a factory. When I worked for "the Hut" and Domino's, I never had to slice up anything, including tomato. It's mainly in bags.

I'm sure not all pizza places do things like that, but both these two places did. I'm sure it was a mistake and since you didn't break a tooth from it, I just wouldn't pursue it.

i had that happen once and it turned out to be a bone..... I also work at a pizza place and sometimes when we get the sausage and beef in there are little pieces of cartlidge or bone in them... ...............................................................................................................god that sounds yummy.............sorry i gave detail lol

It doesn't sound like any real damage was done. I found a pit in a jar of expensive jam. I threw it out. I could have sent it to the company and possibly gotten some free jam, but I'm not like that.
If you do contact a lawyer, please be honest and don't make things up in order to get money. We all pay for decisions like that in the long run.

I would sue. I had something along the same line as you. When I bit down, there was something in it that was not edible and chipped my tooth. I took it out and it was a staple, imagine if I swallowed that, I could have sued for a lot of money. But you should get a lawyer just incase, because it always helps in the long run. Just get their opinion.
