Hack the Verizon PC5750 PC Card!

Just got a PC5750 PC Card for internet. I traded a LG VX8600 for it straight out at a Pawn Shop. Gonna hack this puppy. Hopefully its like the USB720 I already got working with EVDO on Cricket.

Wish me luck, as I will post my findings!
 
Boy did I get far. So far I can only get the PC5750 to connect as a "NEC PCI to USB Open Host Controller" and "USB Root Hub", 2 of each. No modem. I got VZWAccess Manager so it would set it up as a modem and it won't do it! WHY! Maybe I will just have to hunt down the drivers themselves. I'm going to reboot my computer and try again first.
 
No Such luck. I even found the drivers and the setup.exe file and set the drivers up in C:/Documents and Settings/User and C:/Windows/system32/drivers and it still installs it as NEC... and USB Root Hub. AHHHHH!!!! Any ideas? I'm going to try to find separate drivers from what comes with VZWAcess Manager.

Oh yeah, I also Uninstalled the devices that are popping up every time (NEC.. USB...) in between each different attempt. And it won't let me update the drivers to the correct ones! WTF!!! Has anyone done one of these or any PC Card yet?
 
Can't get it to connect as a modem. I need some good drivers. Would you happen to have the drivers you used from the other card you were talking about? I will be scouring the internet for anything that works.
 
I flashed the AC595 Sierra aircard from Verizon it was very easy. Got it off craigslist for $5 works like a charm. It was done using the same method as posted for the 720usb. Been using it for 2 months now and I get about 800kbps/1200kbps.
 
:^/ I've done my own testing for EVDO speeRAB here in Portland, and my maximum is about 550kbs.

One thing to watch for is that Opera Mini will give misleading results. When visiting a speed test site via Opera, the test is actually the speed between Opera's proxy and the test site, then the results are forwarded to you. For most surfing that's helpful, but not for speed tests. My results were with the Tr
 
has this aircard been successfully hacked if not i hacked it bout 4 months ago and just threw it off to the side i think i can prolly walk myself back through it and type it up
 
So has anyone ever successfully hacked the 5750 or not? If so have the instructions been posted? Cause I can't seem to find them anywhere.

I know this is an old thread but it seems to have been dropped with no results.
