H@H -- Beating the Price increase?

Ok it appears very likely that the HostSpot @ Home $9.99 special will expire in mid September (the 12th is what I have seen) and go up to $19.99/month for individual plans. From what I can tell that is at least a month before the release of any UMA enabled Blackberry's can be anticipated. Can any of our TMO experts confirm that you can indeed add the service now to an existing plan to lock in the promo price? I have seen posts that recommended going on line and changing your phone to at H@H phone and then adding the plan and changing back - will that work (and will it last)?

We are using the service now for the family and have now real issues - I would love to have a strong signal and free calls on my BB as well!

While we are on this topic can anyone confirm the date that the promo pricing ends?
 
I called T-MO cs and told them straight up that i want h@h but i have the pearl ... she added the service no question asked... she also confirmed that the 8320 will come in titanium or gold-ish color
 
its possible to add HS@H online without having a HS@H phone. if u log into ur account online, click on the picture of ur phone in the top right hand corner, then click on "this is not my phone" and change it to one of the HS@H phones, then you can go to ur plan services and add that service online, dont even have to call. then u can change ur phone back to the 8100 or what ever u have. i did that about a week ago.
 
On the web all i get offered is the regular hotspot with is 19.99...
I don't want to call. I tried an email and got a blurb about how i had to upgrad my phone... as if it is an upgrade.
