I am a slim 18 year old boy, I train 5x a week (Gym twice) and I am looking to gain a bit more muscle. My body is currently toned, however my muscles are not really that big. I do not take any Protein shakes or any other supplements. I would like to start, but I am not sure in which direction to go. Can anyone recommend any shakes for me or bars which could help me get my muscles a bit bigger? Also, isit hugely necessary in order for me to do so? Are there any major advantages that I would miss out if I didnt take any drinks or bars?
