gym locker room showers?

ok so im 14 and a boy. i have 2 questions. in the locker room showers i always get hard and its not fair. my friends always talk about their penis's and stuff and it makes me hard. im not gay but how do i stop that. everyone looks at me and its like a joke now but i kind of want to stop that how can i?? and also most of them have shaved there pubic hair and they have absolutly none. ive seen there pubes before and they all had alot of hair but now im the onl one with alot should i shave it off????? guys perspective thannkkksss
OK....first rule of life.....nothing is even going to be fair. And you are experiencing it first hand. Second rule of life....there is absolutely nothing, repeat, nothing you can do about the first rule so get over it and deal with it.
I suggest that if possible, try not listening to your friends when they talk about their penises. Yeah, I know guys do although I can't remember my friends or me discussing our penises in the locker room....but times have changed since I was 14. Concentrate on getting undressed, showered, drying off and getting dressed for your next class. Once you have your pants on you can join in the conversation with your buddies if you want....since having your pants on should at least limit their ability to notice if you are hard or not....and if they do...ask them why they keep looking at your crotch.
As for the pubic hair thing....again, no one shaved their pubic hair when I was in high school...or college...or the military. Granted that was a while back (high school age 14 - 1969 through leaving the army as a 1st Lieutenant - 1978) and I understand that shaving (for both sexes) is...well, typical or routine for many young people; fine with me. Personally, if you want to shave...shave. If you think that perhaps if you shave the guys will stop or lighten up on their joking about you when you get an erection in the locker room showers....you're mistaken, sorry but they will continue to make jokes. Trust me....boys will be boys....and be honest, if it was another guy getting hard and not you in the locker room...you would still tease him even if he shaved his pubes; right?
Again, just my suggestion....but if you don't want to shave...then d*mn, don't shave. I realize the intensity of peer pressure at your age...we all felt it at 14, 15, 16......and longer. If it would make YOU more comfortable to shave....then fine....shave, but because you have made that decision and have not had that decision thrust upon you because most of your buddies have all shaved theirs.
And finally.....you already know....it may (OK, it is) embarrassing to be teased by the guys in the locker room, but embarrassment never killed anyone and eventually they will lose interest (especially if you concentrate on getting dressed before joining in the male bonding locker room banter) in your erection and find something else or someone else to make the butt of their jokes.
And besides...next time you get hard and they start with the jokes...why not step right up to them (they are your friends after all; right?) and asking them directly something along the lines of..."Hey, why are you guys so interested in looking at my penis all the time? Are you jealous because I'm bigger then the rest of you or what?" And if (and they will) they start with the typical response of..."You're not bigger than me...I'm much bigger than you." Simply say to them..."Really, well then why not prove it by showing all of us how big you are? Put up or shut up time, buddy." I promise you...it will shut them up immediately and the teasing will begin to subside.

Awwww - poor baby! Get over it. You are in puberty & that little feller has a mind all it's own. There's nothing you can do to make it behave. It's gonna do what IT wants to do - regardless.
If you feel more comfortable shaving or closely clipping your pubic hair - go for it. Nobody's stopping you.
