Guys does he only want sex or is he for real?

Okay so a while ago my boyfriend I broke up because he got drunk and had sex with a chick. I was of course mad and hated him, but of course I never stopped liking him or having attraction towards him. He continued flirting with me and now he says that he is sorry that he hates that it happened he wishes he could take it back. My friends say he is all about sex and wants to get in my pants, but when I ask him this he says its not true. My friends also say he tells them he's over me. But when I talk to him he says he loves me and he is still not over me. What the f is going on!?!Help!
 
It is not just the sex. He just wants to know he can still get you. It is a power thing. How many nice things has he actually done for you since then, other than say nice things? Multiply that times 10. That is the chance that he really likes you.
 
clearly he's a jerk. if you have to ask "is he for real" then he's not for real. you shouldn't have to ask. in my books, there is NO FORGIVENESS for cheating. that's not love. that's not anything. that's him using you. grow a pair and stop letting people treat you like this. tell him to eff off, cause he's not worth your time. being drunk is not an excuse. anyways, who would you believe? your friends, who care about you and don't use you? or a guy who ALREADY lied and cheated on you? why would you take his word for anything after what he did? DITCH HIM.
