No I don't feel goofy at all. You shouldn't bother about what you look like that's what makes you look awkward (if you do). It's you and the beat (and the girls around you). Don't think.
People say I dance very well, in fact, people are thinking thats because I'm a dance teacher but no. Clubbing has nothing to do with choregraphing. There's not enough space. Don't try complicated moves just follow the rythm of the song. its no big deal, but yeah, you'll make a fool of yourself if you are trying to hard to impress the ladies. Don't throw your arms everywhere and keep it simple.
