I joined a website to meet Japanese friends, but you can only chat with people you are already friends with, are friends with your friends, or who are VIP.
So, I made a profile, and this guy and I started chatting. After a few times chatting, he told me his VIP was expiring soon and asked if we could chat through messenger. I said, "sure, but why not add me as a friend as well?" He didn't realize that if you add friends you can chat with eachother without being VIP. o___o Anyways, he added me and I noticed he already had 4 friends...I emailed one to make sure he isn't playing her...but she said they are just friends and he never flirted with her before...
So, I was confused why someone would pay $50 and not make any friends (most people add a few hundred to take advantage of VIP), and he was like, "Actually, I became VIP so I could speak with you..."
I'm 20, he's 36. I just recently broke up with my boyfriend (27) because...although he is a nice guy, he took all his anger out on me for a few months, and my feelings disappeared and never returned. :/
So anyways, this Japanese guy speaks with me once or twice per day and is very nice and flirty. I believe he is only chatting with me...even his friend I spoke with told me she hasn't heard anything from him for a while.......but he speaks with me every few hours. :/
We have spoken on webcam so I know he looks the same as his photo, and he showed me his college degrees while talking about his career...
I'm just curious, do you think that is a good sign? Thank you so much! ^__^
