What's the level after epic?

And I'm guessing that at the end of the second film, when we see the gang all grown up with Rossiu still having the same face he had when he was in his 20's, I guess we don't see middle-age Teacher Yoko's face like what happened at the end of episode 27 huh?
 
It better not last too long. The reason I watch Gurren is to get AWAY from the emo that infests other blocks.

Then again, I always saw Shinji and Simon as being separated by one factor- Kamina.
 
So are the Anti-Spiral just afraid of Spiral beings cause they are pompous like that? Or are humans really a threat to the galaxy?

I think this question should be in its own thread but since it deals with Gurren Lagann, I had to ask.

Where's the Gurren Lagann manga? I've been trying to find the English translated version of it but it's nowhere to be found in bookstores. Is it an online only purchase or is it still a work in progress? I know Bandai licensed the bloody thing last year and with the release of Set 03 DVD Set on the way, I wonder if the release date of Set 03 will also be the date in which the manga FINALLY arrives to bookstores everywhere? I'm just so mad at Bandai for screwing up the manga's release which I think it was supposed to have been last year in the U.S. but this is ridiculous.

I hate to see what a Rossiu-run planet would look like... Stalin would be a more palatable leader by comparison. Rossiu isn't any more fit to lead than the others, he is just more arrogant.

Yes, he IS a bastard for the sake of doing so. If Rossiu want to save more lives, he can just fake Simon's execution. That would be one extra life he would save, and the mob wouldn't know any different.

If Rossiu could hide Lord Genome's head in the basement, he could hide Simon. And yet, he kept Lord Genome alive but want Simon dead. The only explanation is that Rossiu is jealous of Simon and want him removed permanently.

Killing Simon is RISKY. He is the best fighter they've got. Thus to murder him for personal political gain is to put at risk the lives of everyone on the planet.
