"Gurren Lagann" On Sci-Fi's Ani-Monday Block - Talkback *MAJOR SPOILERS*

He's the guy who wants the fire the out-of-order cannon right? Yeah, he does look like something out of Sesame Street.

So the blonde lizard guy is still alive. And Aldine The Elegant is quite the *****.

This package is kinda like how GL ended the last time and I have them all on I-tunes...the final three episodes I mean. Forget RM, GL's where it's at next Monday which is surprisingly the first day I begin work for the summer. Hmm, the beginning of the end (tonight and next Monday of GL) but the end of me being unemployed, at least for the summer. HURRAY!!!

This quote is so old but yet it's true. Rossiu shouldn't give up on his nefarious plans even when things look bleak, so say it loud and proud:

Look above for quote.

LOL, I saw screen caps of the DVD version online. There's one part in particular that will most likely require some type of edit or blurr. So many 'this object is placed specifically so it barely covers that area' shots.

However, Im betting that this version won't be aired. =[

After several weeks of movies, Ani-Monday returns to a regular schedule--and Gurren Lagann returns to Ani-Monday!

This week, it starts all over again with the first two episodes.

11 PM: Bust Through the Heavens With Your Drill
11:30 PM: I Said I'm Gonna Pilot That Thing

All times Eastern. Also, Gurren Lagann will be followed by the Ani-Monday premiere of Rave Master.

Are they going to stream the second episode? Since my darn Cablevision got rid of Sci-fi, I can't see it on TV. So does anyone know?

These were pretty much the most awesome two episodes so far, especially the end of episode 8.

It stinks that the show is being put on hold for the next two weeks, but maybe it would give the Bandai actors a little breathing room. They did have to rush these episodes out for the TV airing.

A couple of scenes here and there throughout the series. It was less noticeable because the show itself is crazy as hell, but yeah... One example in particular is 2 scenes from the first and second-to-last episode. Scenes of characters bowing and apologizing to save their skin are cut down. These are very important to Kamina's character as he would never bow down and apologize for doing something he believed him. This is the first clue to Simon that something is very wrong in his little fantasy world in episode 26.
