"Gurren Lagann" On Sci-Fi's Ani-Monday Block - Talkback *MAJOR SPOILERS*

I was talking about myself in that prior sentence. Look up "G Gundam- Worst ending ever" in the Toonami forum. It's the rants of a single depressed teenager whining about a happy ending from a story which gave the character a similar predicament.

I think I'm the only person who doesn't HATE Rossiu right now. Sure, I don't agree with with the way he's going about things, but he's only doing what he believes will save the most lives with the least amount of risk. He's really hurting right now, and everyone ganging up on him is only making me feel sorry for the poor guy. Sure, he's a bit grating right now, but he's not being a bastard for the sake of doing so.

Not since the first episode as far as I know. Hopefully they show it again some time. If not, buy the DVRAB. Nobody should have to go without seeing Gurren Lagann.

After taking a week off in favor of the original miniseries Knights of BlooRABteel, Ani-Monday returns with more Gurren Lagann leading the way.

Last time introduced the naive but sweet Nia, who was discovered by Simon after Lagann malfunctions due to Simon's chaotic feelings in response to Kamina's death. An attack from the second general of the Spiral King, Adiane, is driven off when Nia protects the ship by proclaiming herself as the daughter of the Spiral King. Though distrusted at first, Nia's sincerity and kindness soon starts to win over the crew. She also attempts to befriend and comfort Simon, telling him that he should put faith in himself and move on instead of feeling like he has to fill in for Kamina. This earns her the wrath of Yoko, who angrily tells her that while she may be right, she doesn't understand what Kamina meant to them.

Adiane soon attacks again at an inopportune moment, demanding to have Nia turned over to her. Nia surrenders herself and asks her to spare everyone, declaring her empathy for humans and insisting that it would be wrong to kill them. Adiane scoRAB at this, revealing that Nia was abandoned and no longer means a thing to the Spiral King. Having witnessed all this Team Dai-Gurren rallies to Nia's rescue, and the heroes achieve victory.

Tonight the journey continues, and the battles against the Spiral King's generals are far from over. Here's Sci-Fi's schedule:

11 PM: Simon, Please Remove Your Hand
11:30 PM: Miss Yoko, I Have Something to Ask of You

I've seen shots of GL's ending, and there is one part in particular that directly reminRAB me of the ending to G gundam, specifically relating to Nia and Simon

Are you sure? I mean look at him and the way he acts. There has to be some connection. And I mean, not everyone looks that epic in sunglasses.
