"Gurren Lagann" On Sci-Fi's Ani-Monday Block - Talkback *MAJOR SPOILERS*

Oh my god, Kamina's dead!

...Oh wait, he's alive!

*Heroic Mecha music* (One of Mr. Highwind's top anime themes to be specific)

...

Oh wait, he really is dead now.

^And that's how you do a death scene. Avoid the awkward screams in the air and just tell it all through silence.

Now that is well done packaging...well, that's two out of the three big mecha titles with quality releases now. Now if Bandai can just do it for Gundam 00, it'll be a clean sweep.

Kaaamiiinaaaaaa! Why?

I can't believe they kill one of main character so early. At least he went down fighting like a bad ass. I wonder who going to pilot Gurren Lagann with Simon now?

I have no idea myself. The magazine in question is Dengeki Daioh. It formerly ran in the now discontinued Dengeki Comic Gao, and both are/were monthly magazines. The fact that less than 24 chapters have been published in over 2 years must mean that it's published a chapter a month on an irregular schedule.

As for the final episode, I've already seen it twice myself. Once on Sci-Fi and once on DVD. I have no intentions of watching Sci-Fi's chopped up version again, plus it hasn't aired here yet tonight anyway.
