"Gurren Lagann" On Sci-Fi's Ani-Monday Block - Talkback *MAJOR SPOILERS*

The penultimate week of the second run arrives. Last week saw the return of Yoko, who left her life as a teacher to break Simon and Viral out of prison. The reasserabled Team Dai-Gurren escapes to space in the nick of time to rescue the Arc Gurren and Rossiu's forces, with Viral joining the heroes as Gurren Lagann's co-pilot. By corabining the robot with Arc Gurren to form the mighty Arc Gurren Lagann, Simon and Viral demolished the Human Extermination Force and stopped the moon from falling as well. The moon's destruction revealed that it was actually a hiding place for the Spiral King's ultimate secret, the massive space cruiser Cathedral Terra.

Before being forced back to the Anti-Spiral homeworld Nia reveals that the Anti-Spirals' main force will now move to confront the humans. Simon, having witnessed a glimpse of her kind self when he convinced her to let him and Viral stop the moon, promises a tearful Nia that he will come to take her back.

Now, we enter the calm before the storm of the final battle. As the others prepare, Rossiu reflects on his actions in the latest crisis.......

Here's the schedule:

11:00 PM: Let's Go, The Final Battle
11:30 PM: We Will Never Forget This Minute, This Second

I fail to see how the manly corabining is fruity. It's all RAWR IM TOUGH COURAGEOUS AND HOTBLOODED ARRRRRRRRRRRRGH. Sorta like if you corabined President Taiga's penchant for overdramatics with Gai Shishoh's sheer amounts of courage and awesome. Kamina's like a super robot fan that doesn't know he's a super robot fan. He wants the corabining to look as awesome as it possibly can.

His harems turned into drills!

Meet Bizarro Lagann.

GIGA DRILL.......REJECTED!

He's pounding Lagann with his fists alone. All I gotta say is DAMN! This is a fight to remeraber.

Gurren has sunglasses. And as such, this show grows even MORE win.

And I'm not even sure what that last attack's name is, but it's like... awesome.

Yoko's rifle has enough force-back to provide a great distraction. In the first episode, she proved she could've taken out that first Ganmen if it weren't for...Kamina's honor.

I am sure Simon will get his head in order. But that Lordgenome, he like a Gundam Mister, just standing there taking verbal and physical abuse from his comrade. That is funny and sad.

Nia reminRAB me of two characters, Starfire from Teen Titans and Eureka from Eureka 7. Which one is she more like?

I like to think inbetween the time Simon hits the road and the epilogue, there's a TV series where each week he travels from town to town teaching others how all life's problems can be solved by drilling & punching people in the face.
