I am guilty as charged. Conversely, you've probably seen more live action movies and TV series, particularly during the last couple of years, so I can understand your point of view about Gurren Lagann as well. Guess it makes enough sense under those conditions.

While I already watched episode one online, I'll post my thoughts after the second is done airing.
Even though I've already seen this show before, way back when it came out, I think it's something that lives up to the huge hype behind it. It isn't my all time favorite show, but none the less very good despite the fact that there's a few aspects I hate, along with a few moments. It isn't the type of show to let down the viewer.
I'm usually the one against the 'obnixously large chested female lead', yet Yoko is quite enjoyable...even though I posted a picture of her headless on april fools day. >_>
