"Gurren Lagann" On Sci-Fi's Ani-Monday Block - Talkback *MAJOR SPOILERS*

So we've got the "Yuri Lowenthall show" with...ugh...SyFy and we have the "Johnny Young Bosch hour" with [as].

Those guys can't stay away from each other can they?

(Ironically, Stephanie Sheh is also in all four of those shows)

Shhhh, they'll hear you. Anyway, I didn't take a look at the cast list, but I'm assuming it's all Studiopolis people like Johnny Yong Bosch, Crispin Freeman, Steve Blum, and Yuri Lowenthal?

Rossiu, no notable role yet, Leeron, and Simon respectively. Pretty predictable. Also, Kyle Hebert as Kamina and others mentioned in this thread.

Gurren Lagann, you failed me! You're supposed to make me feel better after watching NTHT, not worse! Kamina, you will be missed, but I can't imagine Kamina going out any other way. They did a fantastic job setting up Kamina's death, after so many near-misses you become convinced Kamina is invincible and then "WHAM!"

Poor Yoko. Poor Simon. Poor everybody. What're they going to do without their leader? Sci-fi picked one helluva time to take a break, but at the same time, this is one of the best places to do it, because this enRAB an arc.

Not that I'm saying Steven Blum is a bad VA (quite the opposite, in fact)

But how did he go from extremely, cool, kickass, every main character on Adult Swim's anime heyday, anime protagonists (aka Mugen, Roger, Kazuma, Spike, etc.) to questionable sexual preference, hilarious characters? (a.k.a. Orochimaru, Leeron...especially Orochimaru)

Well at least he's Tohdoh in Code Geass that pretty much balances it out.
