Gurren Lagann Movies Licensed for the USA?

Fans may recall that "Childhood's End" was the tagline of the first movie. Hat tip goes to Anime News Network on this one, who apparently asked Aniplex for comment (and received none) and are not posting fake news for April 1st.
 
I hope the films will be coming to DVD/Blu-Ray since putting them in limited release in theaters would be murder in the sales. Also even with the site being for the first movie, any chance there will be a second site promoting the second film. entitled Tenga Toppa Gurren Lagann: Lagann-Hen?
