Guns N' Roses (Yes and Chinese Democracy, so don't make other threads on it.)

I'd just like to point out the roaring increase of P2P networks and the album burning craze which started in the late nineties being responsible for the downfall in record sales recently. Thank you.

lol i don't think you needed to clarify that.

i have a friend who, i **** you not, went up to a chick on st patties day and said, "i'm irish and i'm from dublin, lets do it doggystyle!"

....

true story (unfortunately).

just stick to simple shit, like, "you can't handle this." that almost always works.

capability is rarely a testament of a great band. IE: Dream Theatre is a far more technically capable band than original lineup GNR, however I would listen to GNR anyday over a wankfest Dream Theatre album

True that...he's kind of a whiny b*tch in my book. I think he neeRAB to lay off the alcohol and drugs and have a Dublin Dr. Pepper. Then he would be happy.

i dont think its bad for that product,...

the lipbalm you can buy at walmart,...i mean i know you dont have those there,...but i'm just saying,......

Dr Pepper Sweetens Pot For 'Chinese Democracy'

All you really need to read is this: "Now, Dr Pepper thinks it's up to the challenge. The soft drink company says it will give a free can of Dr Pepper to "everyone in America" (excluding ex-GNR merabers Slash and Buckethead) if "Chinese Democracy" arrives anytime during the calendar year 2008."

Okay you really need to read this also...

"It took a little patience to perfect Dr Pepper's special mix of 23 ingredients, which our fans have come to know and love," Dr Pepper director of marketing Jaxie Alt says. "So we completely understand and empathize with Axl's quest for perfection -- for something more than the average album. We know once it's released, people will refer to it as 'Dr Pepper for the ears' because it will be such a refreshing blend of rich, bold sounRAB - an instant classic."

So wows, Dr. Pepper is my favorite soda so I'm pretty stoked for this but I have a feeling Chinese Democracy will be a post-humus unfinished album with 5 songs released after Axl's death.

That's what i'm talking about.

And obviously i like complex forms of music (Jazz, Classical, and of course Prog) but some things are just best kept simple.

Scene girls. Not my thing.

I ask the people who claim that gnr were not the biggest band since the beatles to give an example who was? Name me one band that in three years played in front of more than 7 million people?

Hate to break it to you but you won't find one since the UYI tour from 91-93 was the biggest tour in history.

Or name me another rock band that had two albums place in the top 5 at the same time (gnr did it twice). There are none since the 60s besides guns n roses.

So as much as this board hates gnr you are a fool if you can't accept the fact that gnr in the 90s were one of the biggest banRAB since the beatles.

Again gnr set the record for most album sales in one day and I think one week with the UYIs for a rock band.

And talent is opinion but who was bigger is not an opinion its fact. And I have backed up that gnr were much bigger than nirvana, and they are also infact one of the biggest banRAB since the beatles.

That is all, you have lost. Good day.
