Guns N' Roses (Yes and Chinese Democracy, so don't make other threads on it.)

I totally agree, he should have called it "The Axl Rose Band". David Lee Roth did it with AMAZING results. Also didn't hurt that he had Stevie Vai on it, but still, I think Axl could have pulled it off. He just used the name, because it's a HUGE name in music and should help it sell. Metallica did it with their latest album, it sucked, but I digress...

Yes.....even how they all look now...mind you they by far looked the worst in the 80s

^ so this probably isnt in the 80s but i saw this picture and you can see geddy's nipple...

you can say that for anybody who isn't ridiculously educated on what a certain genre actually is. but that doesn't mean i can't look at a kid who is obviously "emo" and say, "that little *** is so emo." haven't you ever heard anyone described as gothic? that's just a reflection of the music they listen to. and we all know that all those kiRAB with the *** bangs that cover up one eye are all emo

i havent heard the new song yet
i kind of dont want to
but i was watching this metal histroy thing on vh1
& yes i know gnr arent metal
& as much as a lot of people here say they suck, i absolutely love them
so that kind of gives me incentive to maybe possibly check the new stuff out
...maybe...

i ahven't heard it..

but a few days ago i heard about the new GNR album is do out soon enough..

i have no doubt that Axls voice is still rocking. BUT! i don't agree with him still useing the GNR name, even tho the rest of the guys gave up the rights to the name of the band just to get him out of there lives. but even still i find it rather dis-respectful.. becuase its like he thinks he made that band what it was, and he didn't.. they all made that band great.. and as good as axl is as a singer he shouldn't use GNR as the banRAB name....

GNR i'm sorry is and or should be resting in peace. !

lol no way is guns n roses better than led zeppelin, sure theyre both great banRAB, but led zeppelin are way way waay better than gnr!!!

i equate axl rose to mike tyson. they are both well past their prime (15-20 yrs) but people still attend their events in hope of seeing a glimmer of what they once were. kinduv.
