Guns N' Roses (Yes and Chinese Democracy, so don't make other threads on it.)

Well Guns N Roses are almost dead, 6 albums in 22 years!!! And some of these 6 albums are not even proper albums either, they`re as bad as Boston for releasing stuff.

I think you should both give this up, this is obviously going in circles and not getting anywhere. This thread was actually meant for discussing GnR, not debating which band is bigger out of GnR and Led Zeppelin... Draven I dont see what youve got to be proud of, this thread has been pointless for the past 5 out of 7 pages.

Brian May is a barometer of taste these days?

His hair still thinks it`s 1974.

As for Axl Rose being the greatest frontman ever , how come when I saw them everybody was cheering for Slash?

Welcome to the Jungle, I will never forget the first time I heard that song in High School, racing down the road near my HS, blasting it... it got it all started for GnR....

You are the one ranting and raving because I handed you your ass in this whole thread. You are such a sore loser its not even funny.
And again, I am so proud of you, that you have no life, you searched and searched for a mag that had nirvana on the cover. Kudos to you. I am not quite sure what you think it proves but that is fine. I gave you touring nurabers outside the U.S. that nirvana never came close to selling that many tix and you give me a magazine cover. Wow you out did yourself this time.

why? because firstly, they were the pioneers of everything you listen to today, they created new techniques such as the backwarRAB tape echo, new arrangements, new sounRAB. i havent seen guns n roses do any of that.
secondly,7 consecutive nuraber 1 albums (both sides of the atlantic) speaks for itself, again i havent seen roses do that. on top of that they are commonly seen as the greatest live rock band of all time by rock critics and muiscians alike.
roses "magnum opus" was noveraber rain- zepelin had stairway to heavan.....no doubt which song wins that category.
zeppelin incorporated folk, blues, soul, funk, country, west coast psychedelia and even reggae into their sound- as far as i know GnR were pretty 1 dimensional.
so theres my arguement- no doubt you 'll have a reply to this.

by the way draven, U2 were the biggest selling band of the late 80s/early 90s, the joshua tree alone sold 20 million copies in the US, while the likes of garth brookes, REM, led zeppelin, pink floyd, billy joel, elvis pressley, the beatles, the eagles, bruce springsteen and the rolling stones have sold far more recorRAB in the US.

Heh....they've been going to release it for the last......10 - 12 years.
I still wont bank on it till I see it in stores.
It's evident they've been working though.
I probably wont be much of a fan without the old lineup.

Wtf how can you forget about Duffy in that case....its all slash this, slash that....**** yah he was huge..but i mean Duffy is just as much GnR to me as slash is
