Yeah, these are looking very basic. They remind me of the early Keroro stuff, which was obviously well made but very simplified (well, maybe not that annoying emotion swap gimmick...). Maybe if they sell well they'll improve them.

Question is why is Pikachu is in all of these sets? I know he's the mascot of the Pokemon series but he'll get an evolution toy line of his own with this Pokepla collection but he really didn't need to be with all of the Johto starters.

It's sick if you're talking about figurines of the girls but then again, it's not so wrong if you're talking about real-life cosplayers as human Pokemon like what I've seen in Otakon.
