Yea... im just as surprised as you guys are. God... i want this...

Even if Destroy Build Destroy wasn't airing on Cartoon Network I consider it a very VH1-esque move for him. Maybe I'm just being cynical though.

I do like the cover art, it's quite pleasant and sets the tone quite well.

I have heard one of his earlier Gundam covers, he did it surprisingly well. So there's a decent chance this will be good stuff.

Hmmm, I can really see A.W.K really love Japan.

Anyways, I must listen to that song.

EDIT:

Found a music video!

Thurabs up!

Snazzy Tune...Ol Andrew W.K. Sure is an energetic Guy ain't he.

Overall though I have mixed feelings about the song, its good, but its Kinda Chessy, Still Looking Foward to this CD though, Deffinatly Glad there's People In the Entertainment Business Just as Exicted about Gundam's 30th as the fans are!

(& Loving the Album's Cover!)

Wow, i like how people here dont seem to know music.

Its a beefed up version of Tobe Gundam, one i happen to enjoy...

I need that album...

If Andrew WK enRAB up in an anime and he does that gag were a character shows arousal by getting a sudden nose bleed would that be ironic?

I wonder if he'll cover any other Sunrise properties?

His covers are actually pretty good, this is his second Japanese cover album, the original was a fun listen, especially his version of GReeeeN's Kiseki.

For anyone wants to listen to this soundtrack got to andrew w.k web site.

Go to music and search for the soundtrack.
There's 16 songs. Some of them are pretty good. Most sound like OST tracks though, but on his own version.
I'm soooooooo buying this.

Interesting; 3, 4, and 15 are fairly awesome and the album overall makes me think of a Gundam Musical Stage Show (I would not be surprised if one existed).

I was kinda wishing this included the song from the first op. of Z Gundam (and Men of Destiny... what?) but this CD sticks to the original MSG (I not entirely sure).

That's the second musician I've heard in a short time doing the Ghren Zabi funerary speech (kinda' expect it from Gackt)... huh...if Andrew W.K. keeps this up he might end up with a Vocaloid character based on him (I wonder if Zero-G or Internet Co. would do it?).
