No, the figures themselves isn't the problem.

It's how they're advertised. They could've just said 'cute' or 'the kawaii version' and leave it at that.
 
Yes I agree... I just see no reason to bash an entire company, heck an entire INDUSTRY AND ITS FANS because of what a MARKETING DEPARTMENT (a.k.a. the root of Corporate Evil) in some big office tower decided to do ya know?
 
While Bandai does make some good stuff from time to time, but stuff like this, yeah, What the hell? I know what my money isn't going to.

I mean, I find it icky too, but it's protected speech, and always will be unless you get a constitutional amendment. If it's not, I call dibs on burning every Nabokov, Shakespeare and Huxley. You know, to protect society from all that underage sexuality depicted therein.
