my guinea pig has been kept outdoors all her life with me with few vet visits.
She seems to be quite good with winter, but if she does look a bit peaky we keep her in the conservatory, she can go down and eat grass as she pleases, because my step dad gave her an enclosed space with open tubes coming down from the hutch. (they were scared of the steps from the pet shop.) But people say never keep a guinea pig outside, but from what I have read, guinea pigs need sunlight and grass to keep healthy. And my guineas pigs all seem the most happy outside. (when it snows, they show common sense and keep in the hutch lol)
So why not keep them outside?
Explanations please
