We have a 2 year old sow that has been having bloody urine. It started a few weeks ago, went away for a little while, the came back again about a week ago. She has also been losing weight, and her genital area has very recently become swollen and wet. Her behavior is normal, though, and she doesn't seem to show signs of discomfort when urinating. I've done quite a bit of research, and some of her "symptoms" are similar to those that describe a UTI, or possibly a bladder stone. I'm just worried about the weight loss and swelling\dampness of her "female areas", because nothing I read mentioned these 3 symptoms under one possible illness. I wanted to know if there were any other signs of a UTI besides the bloody urine. I am making an appointment with an exotic pets vet, I just wanted some hints to what she might have going on!
