Guinea Pig Isn't Eating, Discharge in Eyes?

My guinea pig hasn't been eating normally since about Thursday, and isn't responding like he normally does to treats and food. He also has a discharge around his eyes, I think he may have a cold, but I'm not sure...
Today is Saturday, and our vet isn't open on the weekend...

Take your guinea pig to the vet urgently. Guinea pigs can go into liver failure after 16 hours without food. He could have an upper respiratory tract infection, but he could also have dental trouble. Dental trouble would explain not being able to eat, and can cause a discharge around the eye if the roots of the molars are too long and are pressing on the eye socket.

You really do need to take your piggy to the vet very quickly. Make sure your vet is familiar with treating guinea pigs (an exotics vet).

Your vet should have emergency cover over the weekend. Don't wait until Monday. Are you somewhere in the UK?

By the sound of it, I think you are right, he probably has a cold, but I am not vet so I would still take him or her to the doctor for a check up.
