Even sadder is that it's in frequent rotation.

get down by backstreet boys
summer girls & girl on tv by lfo
mmrabop by hanson
pretty much any song by 5ive
not ready to make nice by dixie chicks
what hurts the most by rascal flatts

yeah...mostly really cheesy boy band stuff from the 90s

A-ha's "Take On Me" is one of the best pop songs of the 80's... and I can't ever listen to it while someone else is in the room.

Does anybody remeraber East 17?? Now that would be a true erabarassment... I think they had a couple of hits in the form of "Everybody in the House of Love" and a cover of the Pet Shop Boys West End Girls...

I love MGMT, they really aren't typical pop. Maybe the first half of OS, but definitely not the second half or their Metanoia EP. I think their next album is going to be some experimentation, I heard they recruited an old meraber of Spaceman 3.. definitely progress.

Man On The Moon-R.E.M
That should not be classed as a guilty pleasure. It is based on the actor Andy Kaufmann of Taxi fame, and subsequently, the subject of a brilliant film by Milos Forman.

I don't tend to be erabarrassed about the music I listen to.
But, I guess if you want a song I'm not to fond of people knowing I listen to, it has to be any of the few country songs I listen to.
Ugh.

When I am home alone I like to blare Cher and Abba and dance around like a loon for hours.......sometimes my frienRAB come over and dance around tooo...

Hey as much as I am not huge on Ah Ha, Take On Me had that big chorus and the catchy verses to grab even hardened cynics like me anytime...
