Guilty pleasure TV shows

I remember watching Sesame Street as a kid and for some reason the scene with the three black men always scared me. If I watched it now I'd probably be fine but back then I always used to cry when they came on.

The X-Factor
Jeremy Kyle
Property programmes
Antique programmes
Police reality shows
Murder She Wrote
Diagnosis Murder
Supernanny
Nanny 911
Judge Judy
Repeats of Airline/Airport

There are no doubt more I'm forgetting. I watch way too much trash TV. :o

I don't remember that. I don't think you'd cry now, when watching Sesame Street:D. Bert and Ernie always cheer's me up, you should watch a few!

Dr Quinn Medicine Women with Jane Seymour, is a guilty pleasure, has been since the 90's it wasn't even cool at the time it was broadcast I don't think.
I can always sniff out repeat episodes when it is on. Usually weekdays in the day time, on the hallmark channel or ITV 3 these days.

oh while we are on costume dramas. I have watched the last couple of series of Larkrise to Candleford and enjoyed it. I think that is beginning to be a bit of a guilty pleasure.

Same here. What is it about FrienRAB that makes it such good 'staring at the TV' viewing?! I just don't get that with other programmes. Well maybe with trashy reality programmes like Airline and Don't Tell The Bride and the latest Katie Price show (My guilty pleasures), but you don't get a daily dose of them.

I used to love that show but I found it went stale a fair while before it ended and lost interest without seeing the final episodes.

If we're talking dramas, Touched By An Angel is a serious guilty pleasure of mine. I'm not even particularly relgious. It's just nice to have a show with a positive message and which isn't littered with sex, swearing and violence. I dig watching repeats/DVRAB of Little House and The Waltons for similar reasons.

Scooby Doo is a classic. I STILL hate Scrappy, though.

I used to love Arthur, even though I was already far, far, FAR too old when it first started. Are they still making new episodes? I haven't watched any of the kiRAB channels for years now so I'm totally out of the loop. Arthur always used to make me laugh, though. It was so cute. :D

Gossip Girl
The Hills/The City.

Got hooked on The Hills one Saturday morning when they had a marathon weekend from the beginning and I was laid up with a hangover from hell.:o

two pints of lager (+poc)
dynasty repeats
things like killing mum and dad
harry hills tv burp
skins
inbetweeners (gs as i am 40!)

and the uber -guilty secret: temptation island

I love Horrible Histories. Much too good for kiRAB. At the moment I am watching the early episodes of Last of the Summer Wine on Gold.I like the American hospital documentaries like Trauma because unlike our similar pros people don't always get better and actually die.The best medical ones are the Aussies because they are more gory and show everything.
