I need to have a Confirmation Speech by May 23 for my church. I have no verse in particular and I haven't yet had a "OMG JESUS IS MY SAVIOR" moment. It would be much appreciated if someone would give me
1. A guideline(IN DETAIL PLEASE. my pastor already said "the verse i chose......i chose this verse because............." is an ok format to follow, and i get that im suppose to have a verse and a purpose but i can't think of anything(i've read through Psalms and Proverbs twice already in the past few month trying to find something >.<) )
2. Tips: Should i have jokes in it? Would it sound shallow if it was only 2 minutes? any additional tips appreciated!!!
3. Help: A list of verses i could use, and any additional help would be appreciated!!!
If anyone was to feel so kind, could they send an example speech? doesn't have to be in detail, just something that i can follow along to while build my speech to be similar to. (I promise not to use the verse or the purpose, I'm just using it to see how the speech should be structured.)
