GTA on the Wii - What do you think?

What do you guys think about GTA coming to the Wii? I wonder if Rockstar & TakeTwo will agree with Nintendo...

I can foresee lawsuits arising... "holding a controller like a baseball bat and mimicking the actions of the character while beating the shit out of an elderly woman is troubling".
 
people have always bitched about aiming systems in gta games- i only had a few problems on psp but overall thought they did a good job. i think a wii exclusive that was like a vice city stores sized game for san andreas would be AMAAAAZZZZIIIIINNNGGGGG

they could fit a game just as big as san andreas, or maybe a little smaller , on the wii. damn would that be fun.
 
Even if it didn't integrate many new gameplay elements, I would like to see it come to the Wii. It's the only game really that I have to set out to buy another console for.
 
Even though people bitch and moan about these types of games and their effects on kids, the onus is on the parents. The game would obviously be rated M and any parent that buys it for their kid then bitches about the content is just fucking dumb.

Or even any parent that sees their kid play it but doesn't take it away then bitches about it is just dumb. It's like saying rated R movies shouldnt be made because of what it does to kids, well kids aren't supposed to watch it because it's rated R

My thought is they will, because they are making a new engine for the new gen systems. So this will probably let them use the old engine (the one that made all the PS2 versions) and make some nice coin with an outdated engine, they'd be stupid not to.

And even if they don't I just hope Rockstar makes at least 1 game for the Wii - those people are very creative when it comes to games, so I'd like to see what they can do with the control system of the Wii
 
Gta doesn't belong on the Wii. Sorry to say guys but Gta isn't meant for the wii at all. I love the Wii and I love Gta but they just don't go together. One reason is the Wii can't support the graphics the new Gta will have. Another is that I don't want to be playing Gta with the Wii controller. Maybe it's me but the Wii and Gta just doesn't fit.
 
yeah, its not very nintendo but I'd play it. the wii remote and nunchuck would work great for a 3rd person shooter so I'm sure it would be fun but I can't see nintendo releaseing a game like that.
