Get there 5 minutes before launch? All our special edition copies were oversold. But we in no way were canceling any orders whatsoever. Only 2 out of the 10 people who pre-ordered the special edition came to pick it up.

I wasn't working for Halo 3 launch so couldn't quote a number. We had about 800 people for the Vista launch though. Mind you, a famous rugly player was also making an appearance at that one. We had lines outside that went around the entire building, and Microsoft had setup a free sausage sizzle + XBOX 360 pods where you could play while waiting outside in line.

THAT IMO is how you should do a midnight launch. This one was fucking lame.
