GTA 4 multiplayer help...

So i have it for 360, and 80% of the time I try joining a quickgame of cops n crooks it makes me the host and no one joins. how come it rarely puts me in rooms with other people? it's a pain in the ass to jump from the multiplayer room back to loading single player then back to multiplayer.

im having the same problem, ended up joining a death match

I have the opposite problem, I can NEVER host even though I want to. And there's 1 person on my friends list that can never make it to a lobby while in my party, but I can make it if I'm in his, shit is infuriating

Yeah, the multiplayer lobby/matchmaking system is buggy as hell. I wish it was more like COD4 where is was a whole separate menu system.

GTA barely has a menu to begin with, and its hardly the main focus of the game .

I prefer playing online with friends anyways, so it doesn't matter much to me (at least now). I'm sure Rockstar will release an update relatively soon to address some of the initial concerns.
