GSM Flip, NO camera for Cingular

Due to job requirements, I'm not allowed to have a phone with a camera, but I want a flip.

Requirements: I need an outside screen that shows incoming numbers, and above average RF...
that's about it, besides those mentioned in the title... (besides durability and the like)

I wouldn't mind an unlockable one, but I'm going to be migrating, so I can get a discounted Cingular one too...

I've looked at the Samsung x497( and 507), and they seem like my front runner... other than the S/E z300a, but since it's only a pre-paid I can't seem to find many reviews of it...

I'm wary of the LG's, can't seem to find a Nokia flip without a camera (I had my hopes up for the 6126, but it looks like it's getting a camera)

Anyway, do I have any choices beyond getting the S/E z300a or samsung?
 
Nokia 6061 has no camera, basic phone with 850/1900. Moto v540 is a v551 with no camera.

6061 doesn't have an external caller id...

Huh, hadn't seen the v540.. don't seem to be that many out there, but maybe I'll give it a try...
 
me too, and it got me all excited...

I just don't see the point of a phone if I can't glance at it to get the time or caller
 
ya i had the nokia 6061 before and it's a really really nice and simple flip phone i loved it a lot. only thing i didn't like was it not having external screen, if not it would be a perfect simple phone. but i think the samsung d357 is ok. it's for cingular and has that push to talk feature in it. i was going to get that samsung one but i will wait for the 6126 from nokia i love nokia most haha
