of my son? So heres the quick story. Sons dad was not involved with my son for the first 3 1/2 years. Decided aftr I filed child support that he wanted to be involved (more time less money he pays). My son is 7 now and for the past 3 1/2 years we have split 50/50. Even though he goes to his dads house 3 to 4 days a week, his dad usually is at work and leaves him with his wife, hes pretty much non existant when it comes to his son. My son says that sometimes his dad hits him if he doesnt do something right. While I on the other hand am there in every which way, I volunteer in his classroom, I go to all his activities in school, little league, usually the one to take him to dr. and dentist, etc. I never hit him, etc. So yesterday is when all hell broke loose. I dropped him off with his dad and let him know that the night before he had a 101 temp. I didn't take him to the hospital because he was just sleeping it off and it didnt really seem like an emergency situation, the next morning he was better and the temp was down to 99. Well when I drop him off with his dad I start getting calls from later in the day talking about how horrible I am that I didn't take him to the hospital and that they ended up taking him last night until 3 a.m. and all this other stuff. They are telling me that my son is telling them that I told him not to tell them he was sick. Which is a total lie. Now he is threatening to take me to court for full custody because apparently I am not being a good mother. What do you guys think. He may just be yelling it because hes mad but I wonder what the chances are that he could actually do that. What do you think?
