Why don't you like AMD? Their CPU's run cooler and usually beat the Intel's on the benchmarks. I go AMD mainly because of the Price/Performance ratio.

Also, 64-Bit chips could mean we could finally emulate the PowerPC G5 processor and run MacOS on WinTel machines...That is, if IBM does not sue over the emulation software, like Motorola did.
 
b/c i would have to buy not only a new processor but a new MB and new RAM and the intel p4 EE beat the AMD 64-FX in most benchmarks...and actually prescott is best for overclocking because of the longer pipeline, although some people argue that it is slower but when your in the 3.0 GHz and higher you can't really tell a difference.
 
Actually...No one should get the FX-53 or the P4 EE. You can get a Dual Xeon system for that much! TomsHardware.com made an article on that...You should check it out.
