growing weed outdoors in NEW ENGLAND?

looking to grow some plants in my back yard..i live in new England..probably gonna purchase the seeds from over seas..ive been reading up on some types of weed that can grow outdoors in the new england climate......"new purple power" "early misty" is what im leaning towards buying right now...any tips or advice on a type of weed that would grow better up here in new England or tips on how to grow would be greatly appreciated thanks...PS: i know its illigel...don't care
 
It's called "weed" for a reason. It will grow really quickly and easily.
Plant in full sun if at all possible. Once established, it doesn't need much water, perhaps once a week if it doesn't rain.
You can prune it to shape, i.e., taller or wider.
It will start to flower in . . . . October?
They flower when the days start getting shorter.
 
yes it is against the law but steer clear of those mail order company's you could get busted for doing it. i grew the stuff when i was younger also (don't use it anymore) i used to get my seed's from the bag's i bought just plant them in a sunny location around the end of may and the plants will do the rest! that's all i'm saying about it
