I have carrots and onions in these pots. The carrots started pushing through the soil in less than three days. It's been about seven days now. I had them outside for natural sunlight, but it's been raining so much that I was afraid the minimal sunlight and heavy rain would kill them faster than not being outside at all. My question is: Can carrot and onions make enough photosynthesis to survive with ordinary house light with maybe 3 hours of sunlight every other day (sunlight doesn't permeate directly into my apartment or I would set them near the window)?
