Hello. I got my hair cut into a SUPER short pixie cut back in august. It grew about 5-6 inches since then. But now its in that "awkward" growing out stage. Where it looks a little mullet-y in the back. And is growing in really thick!

I've been trying headbands. Teasing the top. Taking vitamins, using a deep conditioner, letting my hair hair dry, and continuing a healthy diet.
What can I do to make this awkward stage better?
