Guido,

You know I'm a HUGE fan brother.....the only thing better than your quality is the customer service... but I have to inquire about the Shift-Tech sticker thing; is that permanent?
 
No it's a sticker. And hopefully he isn't too serious about that, considering most people don't slap stickers on anything Italian - unless it's for a race or on race plastics.
 
Yes it's a sticker, apx. 5x2inches and yes he was serious about it and it's part of the deal, I can't control if you place it on your bike but have trust in you to do so.
They look very nice on the carbon.
 
I didn't see that until I ordered, or I wouldn't have. I know I could easily just not put the sticker on, but now that it's a contingency, I'm not that comfortable with paying $500+ to advertise for someone else - especially when the only people that matter are the one's that ask you where you got that piece. If this is still a big deal (which apparently it is for the group deal offer), then I would like to cancel my order. It's a great piece of CF at a good price, but I'm really not willing to put a sticker(s) on my bike.
 
it's fine to have an opinion, but the way you come off seems rather abrasive. Re-read the post from Guido carefully. I really don't see why you are complaining. Same thing on the other thread too. I've had nothing but good service from Guido and Randy, so stop trying to stir the pot. Maybe PM them if you have issues instead?
 
Come on guys let's all get along, Trapp not a problem at all and thanks for being honest straight up, as I said I have no way of knowing if the one sticker will end up on it or not so I think it's great for you to be straight out right away.

You know that I could just not care much about the sticker or no sticker and just trying to make a profit but that's not how I am. Making a profit is not my first priority, some other may think this guy ( that would be me) is an idiot because he just turned down a sale but that's exactly the difference.

My view is that you are getting a huge discount - one hand washes the other - and I would not mind in return to have somebody's " good looking" small sticker on it but we all have choices and I honor your opinion 100% on this, no hard feelings at all.
 
I appreciate that Guido, thanks. Just wouldn't have felt right about getting a deal and throwing the sticker away, so I wanted to at least explain my side.

And Gnance, the problem is I didn't read the post much at all. Saw the group deal headline, scanned for the price, and I ordered. It's no one's fault but mine.
 
I still have the Shift-Tech sticker on my rear hugger, it aint look bad.

Thanks for being honest straight up. I did carefully read the first post and that is the main reason I still holding on it. I understand Guido's point, but it is justified for me to save little money and have a big Shit-Tech sticker on my CF bellt pant? I don't mind if is a small sticker like rear hugger somehwere in the bellt pan. Seriously, if I would put the stciker on, it must be a "real" discount.

We all love Ducati, and I am sure Ducati will not paint a "DUCATI" on half of the fairing. What are the purpuse of having a CF bellt pan???

Guildo, can we use a smaller stickers instead?? I am an old school. If I promise soemthing and I will do it.
