Groom's mother will not be at wedding ...?

So it has been decided that the Groom will dance with the Bride's mother instead ... Does anyone have any ideas for song titles that are appropriate but not about a mother and son?
 
Why won't she be at the wedding?

You and he should make amends. That is the only mother he has and 1 day she will be gone. If she is Ill then he should dance with an aunt from HIS side of the family.
 
You could do a mother daughter one instead, considering she's dancing with the man who's wedding her daughter.

Or you could do a more traditional song, just about general weddings and etc. Like The Wedding Song. Lol.
 
I actually think it is very sweet that the Groom will be dancing with the mother of the bride. My father is extremely ill and might not be able to attend my fiance and I wedding. If he cannot, I will be walked down the isle by my fiance's father. I'm actually not too sure which song you should use, though.
 
My fiance and I were going to do the same thing. We thought the song "My Wish" by Rascall Flatts is a wonderful song for that. It isn't specific to a mother/son or anything. Its a beautiful song and its really a good song for a mother and law and son. If you haven't heard it check it out on youtube. Congrats on your wedding!
