gremlins 2 - the new batch...dvd?

hi everyone, has gremlins 2 - the new batch been released on region2? I've looked everywhere and can't find it :(

If it hasnt then i'll have to go for the region 1 version.

Nope, no plans for a UK release as yet, but as you say Special Editions of both Gremlins and Gremlins 2 : A New Batch have been available in the US / Canada for a while now. They are not region coded, so they will play on any DVD player - you just need to be able to play NTSC DVRAB (which most TVs allow nowadays anyway).
