Green spots on fish tank.?

That's algae.

Algae blooms happen when people keep goldfish and have limited knowledge about them. Goldfish are messy fish, they produce a lot of organic waste which then breaks down into ammonia which can foul your tank water.

For three goldfish of the fancy variety, a 55-65g tank is ideal with double filtration, but goldfish of the common variety need lots of space, more than double the size.

Make sure your tank isn't near direct sunlight, also make sure that if you have a tank light, you're not keeping it on for more than eight hours a day as algae blooms in sunlight.

I have three lemon gold fish about 2-3 inches long and i just recently cleaned the inside while they were in there with a J-cloth because it was dirty, and I went to one side and there were some tiny green spots on the side and when I looked more closely I saw there were loads I tried scrubbing at it to get it off because I thought it was mold but it wouldn't come off so I left it.
Should I do something about it? And what is it?
Thanks please tell me and if I need to buy any products please tell me what and where I could get it thanks!
