I don't think that it's ball lightning because it seems that if it was it wouldn't make the entire sky light up bright green. And I don't think it's like the northern lights because it's never been recorded in the area I live in (I live in Rhode Island) but it's raining out right now (no thunder at all) and about fifteen minutes ago it flashed once then flashed again like twenty seconds later. Then it did it once more about five minutes after that. It illuminated the entire sky with a bright green light and is very very odd to me. As I said I doubt it's ball lightning or northern lights so are there any other scientific possibilities or am I left with supernatural ones? lol
And there is nothing visible in the sky and no tornado reports on television so I think we can rule out tornadoes.
And I should mention it's 11:33 PM currently so the sun has not been visible for at least five hours.
